Pastor Johnson

Today I am proud to have Travis as my Associate Pastor (okay it's not like I didn't like him before). But he has gained a new respect from me. I never have been on the My Holiness site before but someone from church told me that Travis said something on there that may be of interest to me. I have now read it and it was about divorce and remarriage. I thought Travis handled it very nicely. I realize I'm probably a little opinionated on the matter considering I am in my second marriage and a Christian. However Travis made some very valid observations. Once you have been remarried God would not want us to destroy our childrens lives all over again. Don't get me wrong divorce and remarriage is not God's first choice but once it's done it's done. The only unforgivable sin is blaspheme of the Holy Ghost I believe. Any way if you are interested read what Travis has to say on my holiness, he is much better with words than I am. Our pastor might make you proud too!!!!

Greatly Missed!!!!

Our church has lost a very special man this week. I can not imagine our church without Dale Bailey. It isn't the same to walk in there and not see his face. It's hard to even think about. He worked so hard. It seemed that anytime there was work going on around the church or the school he was there. I can see him just this last winter. He was plowing out the church parking lot from the big snow we got. I had just dropped the boys off at school and was coming home. An older man had gotten stuck in the snow and couldn't get out. Dale and Jonathon pushed the man out of the snow. That touched me that a man who hadn't been feeling well himself would still be out doing what all Christians should do but sad to say some woudn't take the time. Dale has touch me and others in so many ways. He will be greatly missed. It would be awful hard for someone to fill his shoes. On the good side. DALE IS IN HEAVEN WITH JESUS!!!! Sometimes I can't wait to see Jesus face. The thought that EVERY knee shall bow excites me. Thats my Jesus they're going to bow to. HEAVEN IS A WONDERFUL PLACE.

Hot! Hot! Hot!

This picture is on here for no reason except that I like it. This was a very hot day and Cody and Isabelle decided they would like to play in the sprinkler. I thought this picture was cute of them standing in the cold water letting the hoses spray their feet and legs. They had a lot of fun and I had fun watching them.

The County Fair

The kids had so much fun at the 4H fair. We went out there with their cousins. Isabelle rode with Mason and Julian on most of the rides. Austin got to ride with Mikaila on the "big" rides. He had fun but when Austin Gardner showed up I'm not sure if she dumped my Austin for Alayna or my Austin dumped her for Austin G. But either way they were both happy in the end. Friend for Friend. By the end of the day we were all pretty tired. But the county fair only comes once a year...

My Dad

I am so happy my dad is a Christian! When he stands up in church to testify I get tears in my eyes almost every time. He is a wonderful example of a Christian. I could not ask for a better dad. I only hope he knows what a great influence he is in my life as well as others.

Build A Bear

I wanted to do something fun with Cody before he left to go to his moms for two weeks. Isabelle and Mikaila went to Build A Bear in April for their birthday. When we came home Cody had said something about how he would like a new Build A Bear also. I was kind of glad to hear that because I thought he would think he was too old. Kids grow up too fast and so when he said that it was a fresh reminder to let them be kids as long as they can. We had so much fun letting him pick out his animal, clothes, name, etc. It was good to get to do something special with him.
