scrapbooking

Most of you may know that I enjoy scrapbooking. Janiece, Kristi, Kathrine, and I try to scrapbook at least once a month. It is usually on the last Thursday of every month but the last couple of months have not worked out for any of us to get together. So we finally worked it out where we could get together last Thursday night. This is one of the pages I had started and didn't get time to finish. I haven't scrapbooked in so long that I was afraid I had forgotten how. But I finished this tonight and I really like it and thought I would share it with you all. (Sorry about the quality of this picture. I don't know how to scan it in so I just took a picture with my camera.)Don't get me wrong I do not believe I am the greatest at this hobby. However it isn't about who is the greatest it's about enjoying what you are doing. And I truly enjoyed this accomplishment tonight. We would love for you to join us the next time we get together. If you would like to do that just contact one of us and we will let you know when. We really have a lot of fun and sometimes share several snacks too. Please come and join our fun and fellowship.

Thursday, Dec.6,2007 More Snow Fun

My two little snow angels just loved playing in the snow. They seemed to enjoy it more this year then in years past. I really love the snow so of course it made me very happy that at least two of my kids were enjoying this beauty that God has given us.

Eating fresh snow is so much fun. The kids just kept eating and eating the snow like it was ice cream. We tried to make homemade ice cream last year with the snow but it didn't quite taste right. Maybe we just need to try again sometime. But in the mean time the kids are enjoying it just like it is.

I just like this picture.
Isabelle shoveling the snow. Why is it fun to shovel the snow when your young and playing but it is work when you get older and have to do it? I sure don't know the answer to that but my kids sure love to shovel the snow when they play in it.
This is "stick boy" and his stick. His real name is Matt but we have called him stick boy (not to him just to ourselves) since last summer when he started to come down to play with our boys. Every time he has come to our house he has had a stick he is playing with. I finally asked him his name when he came down on Thursday. He seems to be a very nice boy and very respectful when he comes down to play. The kids all had so much fun even when it began to get dark. Matt (my Matt) had to make our kids come in for the night because they wanted to stay out and play.
