I have the best....
I have the best husband in the world. Every once in a while he surprises me with a little I'm thinking of you present. Friday when I came home from work this is what I found on my table...

My new Bible. I love it!
I think it is just beautiful. I'm glad he is so good at knowing my "taste" and does such a good job at getting things I would like. Thank you baby for being soooo thoughtful.

V. B. S.
The kids had so much fun Racing to Bible school this year. They all stared out together up stairs. Then they would divied off into groups of around thirty (based on their age) and go to different session. I would have loved this Vacation Bible School when I was a kid. Thank you Sara and David Fry for planning and organizing this years Bible school. Everyone did and awesome job working together. I forget how many people they said was there to help every night but I believe it was like 29 people. That is just awesome to have that many volunteers to help with Bible school. The kids will never forget your kindness.
Here are a few pictures from Vacation Bible School this year.

Gene and Angie Davis opened and closed with the kids each night. As always they are so wonderful with kids. We are blessed to have them work with our children every week in junior church.
This is where I was for most of the week. I did the crafts room. I had so much fun with these kids. They would come in and create a master piece and move on to the next sesion. Some of these kids tried so hard to create something they could take home. They were so cute and so patient with me. I truly enjoyed being with them.
Mike and Tracey Peck and Jenny and Steve Gardner did a mini drama story each night. When I stepped in Mike was acting out Paul. I heard good things about these stories. I really would have enjoyed watching all the stories through out the week.
The Derscheid family did the songs with the kids. The kids just loved these songs. They really were cute I wish we could have heard them all together singing these songs. I'm sure the kids would have did an awesome job.
Rose Fry and Sister Mowery were in charge of the snack room. After all the fun the kids were having they needed a snack to keep them going.
Pastor Johnson and Jody were in charge of the games. The kids were just loving throwing those little wet balls at Pastor Johnson. It really did look like a lot of fun too. I mean how often do you get to throw stuff at you pastor anyway.

Isabelle's Sunflower Seeds
Isabelle put sunflower seeds out behind our fence at the beginning of summer. They kept growning really tall but the flower wouldn't open. So when she went outside and discovered they were actually open she was so excited. She called and left me a voice mail telling me that her flowers grew. I wish I could put it on here. She sounded so sweet I haven't deleted it from my phone. I listen to it every once in a while just to hear how sweet she sounded when she saw them. Children are so sweet and excitable.
Big and beautiful.

This is how much taller the flowers are compaired to her.

More fruits of our labor!
We have truly enjoyed our garden this year. The fresh green bean and potato meals, cucumber and onion salads, tomato sandwiches, and rhubarb pies have been wonderful. I'm excited about seeing what we decide to grow next year.
green beans
tomatoes
onion
cucumbers
Our rhubarb plant has grown very well. We have made several rhubarb cream pies from this one plant. It is oh so good.

Jason and Stephanie Abbott's Wedding
This passed weekend we went to Stephanie and Jason's wedding. It was a beautiful day for the outside occasion. Here are a few photos of the ceremony.

My Baby Loves Me Just the Way that I Am....
I'm always worried about and wanting to loose weight. And my dear sweet husband brings me this at 9:30 PM. Complete with a brownie on the bottom, big ice cream scoops, bananas, strawberries, and chocolate syrup on top. Mmmmmm

Well IT IS SUMMER so I guess I can enjoy my SWEET husband and my SWEET ice cream too! I'll have to worry about my weight later.

Clinton County Fair
Yesterday was bracelet day at the fair. Where you buy a bracelet and can ride all the rides you want without buying tickets. I really didn't "feel" like going and spending the money but it seems like each year when the fair rolls around Cody is at his moms house instead of home. So this year since he was home I thought we should go do this with him. I know, I know he would live if he never got to go to the fair but it is something local that you can do with your kids so we decided to go.
rides....
more rides...
and even more rides...
We walked over to see Katy's new horse she named Freckles while we were there. He is a very beautiful horse. And we all know how much Isabelle loves horses. So she enjoyed this very much. Cody wouldn't even touch the horse. He's not really big on animals and the bigger they are the less he likes them.
Waiting for their turn to ride. The other little girl is our neighbors daughter Summer. Isabelle plays outside with her almost everyday. So she was very excited when she saw her and of course had to ride some rides with her too. They had fun just being together.

When it was time to go the kids were ready to go. They had a lot of fun but it was soooo hot out there and they were hungry. (We usually don't buy the fair food because we feel it is over priced.) But we were glad they had fun while we were there.
