July 4th

Our 2008 4th of July camping trip was a lot of fun. We are truly blessed in this country. I am reminded weekly when I'm sitting in our church services of our freedoms here. We have so many freedoms but I guess the freedom of worship really stands out to me. Thank God we can still worship him freely without any worries of being arrested or murdered.

The pretty falls at France park.
After a few bumps and bruises Isabelle is riding her bike with no training wheels very well now. She is so proud of herself and we were so proud of her too. She has been really scared of even trying lately and we were really surprised to see her go. Now she has the confidence to do it she just goes out and starts on her own.

Playing with cousins is sooo much fun.

We drove in to Logansport to watch the fireworks. The pictures could have been better if I had my good camera but I didn't think they turned out too bad considering all I had was my little camera with me.

We really enjoyed the fireworks display. They let you get a lot closer in Logansport and it doesn't seem as crowded as Frankfort. They really put on a good show but the finalie isn't as good as Frankfort's usually is.a

We went done a couple hours a day to the swimming hole. It's amazing how much fun you can have in DIRTY water.

Mmmmmm. The food sure is good when you go camping. And usually the guys do the cooking so all you have to do is enjoy.
One of the best things about camping is just sitting around a nice bon fire and RELAXING. We sure enjoyed some relaxation while we were away.

Hope you all had a great 4th of July celebrating America's Birthday. We live in a truly wonderful country and I pray we all appreciate that fact. We had a good time camping this weekend.

Happy Anniversary, Baby!!!!

Matt I tried to think of all the things I could say to you for our anniversary this year. And the words don't seem to come. I could tell you how I appreciate all that you do, what a wonderful help you are at home, what an awesome dad you are, how much I appreciate your hard work. And I could go on and on. But most of all this year I want to tell you I still do. I still want to spend the rest of my life with you, I still want you to be my best friend, I still enjoy time alone with you, and I still love you. Thank you for all the wonderful years together and hope to have many more years to come.

Mmmmm. Cherry Cobbler

Our neighbors have two cherry trees in their back yard. They told us we could have all we wanted. So...I thought I would surprise Matt and make him a cherry cobbler for when he gets home from work. Austin helped me make it and I was really happy he did. It seems the older he gets the harder it is for us to find common things to do together so it was nice to have his help with this project. I hope Matt likes it when he gets home from work. I know I will. lol

The neighbors cherry tree.

A bowl of cherries anyone?
Austin pitting the cherries with me.
Mmmmm. Oh so good. Can't wait to dig in.

My sweet baby girl...

Isabelle was in a posing mood. So I took advantage of the moment. My kids are never too thrilled with getting their picture taken so I have to do it when they are ready. Besides who wouldn't want a picture of this cutie.

Summer Fun

Fun with my baby...Isabelle was upset because she had "no body to play with." So...mommy stopped to play with her. We really had a good time together. I'm happy to get these moments of time with my babies.

SLIP-N-SLIDE (So much fun!!!!!)

"Now this is summer"

The kids played outside in the rain yesterday. It wasn't "storming" just raining and they had such a good time I just couldn't make them come in. I remember playing in the rain when I was younger. It was so much fun. I'm happy to see my kids having the same fun times together. Cody said, "Now this is summer."

Busy, busy, busy

I'm sorry you all. I have been very busy. Too busy to blog for a while. I have stuff I want to blog but haven't had the time. I guess it is a good sign when you don't have the time that means your busy doing other stuff rather then sitting in the house. lol I will be back soon though. Thanks for checking in.

Austin's Off to Youth Camp

This is Austin's first year going to youth camp. I am a little nervous about him going but at the same time I am excited for him. I never got to do anything like this when I was a kid so I'm happy he is getting to go. I hope he has a lot of fun.
Sara with her crazy camera. This was the first year for Brittney to go too. So...Sara and I was the only two moms with our cameras out taking pictures.
Jenny making final preparations to go.
All packed up and ready to go.

Girls Night IN

Every once in a while Belly and I soak our feet and put lotion on them. Last Friday we saw this stuff in Dollar Tree and it smelled so good. Isabelle asked if she could get it. So we decided on the spur of the moment that it would be nice to rent a movie, get some pizza, and soak our feet. It was nice to stay in and do something with my baby girl. And it was fairly cheap too.
Isabelle is so excited to get started.
Mmmmm Feels oh so good. We really enjoy soaking our feet in this stuff. Our feet feel so good after we get finished.
Me and my baby girl. I love having a little girl to do girly things with.

Memorial Day Fun

For Memorial day this year Jerry and Janiece Cooper invited us and a couple other families over for a picnic/cookout. We had a really good time visiting with Rodney and Michelle Krick and their cuties. It seems like it has been ages since we have done anything with them and it was really nice. (By the way Rodney or Michelle one of you have to post a picture of Hunter barking at that blade of grass.) lol We also got to visit with Scott and Katherine Highlander. I think you can tell by the pictures that we had a nice time and enjoyed the friendship of each of our friends.

We ladies had a good time talking about our little darlings.
The guys went out back and shot clay pigeons.
I told Janiece if she would sit in the wagon I would pull her and she went for it. lol
The kids decided that they could have more fun in the wagon then we could.
